De-AI-ify Text Tool

Remove artificial language patterns and restore authentic human voice to writing. Identifies and eliminates common AI-generated markers.

What It Fixes

1. Unnecessary Connective Words

Remove overused transitions: "Moreover", "Furthermore", "Additionally", "In addition", "Consequently"

2. AI Phrases

Eliminate cliched expressions: "In today's fast-paced world", "It's worth noting that", "At the end of the day", "When it comes to"

3. Hedging Language

Replace weak qualifiers: "It could potentially be argued" -> direct statements

4. Buzzwords & Jargon

Simplify corporate speak: "utilize" -> "use", "leverage" -> "use", "facilitate" -> "help", "implement" -> "do/set up"

5. Robotic Patterns

Fix mechanical structures:

  • Rhetorical questions with immediate answers
  • Forced parallel structures
  • Obligatory three-item lists
  • Every paragraph starting with a topic sentence

Process

  1. Read the input text
  2. Identify all AI pattern instances
  3. Rewrite each problematic section
  4. Create output file with "-HUMAN" suffix
  5. Document all changes made

Output

  • Revised file with -HUMAN suffix appended to original filename
  • Summary of modifications made
  • Sections flagged for adding concrete details

Example

Before (AI-sounding):

"Moreover, leveraging AI effectively isn't just about utilizing cutting-edge technology. Furthermore, it's essential to consider the broader implications."

After (Human):

"Focus on what it does well: writing code, analyzing data, and answering questions. Think about how it fits your actual workflow."

Guidelines

  • Vary sentence length and rhythm naturally
  • Use conversational register where appropriate
  • Make confident statements without over-qualifying
  • Replace vague claims with specific illustrations
  • Text should sound natural when read aloud
