What is Build & Resell?
A way to sell AI assistants as your own product. Each of your customers gets their own private bot, under your brand and at a price you set. We run the servers, the scaling and the updates underneath. You can start with a ready-made storefront or build on the REST API.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The storefront template installs into one of your own running bots (on a regular OpenClaw Launch plan) and publishes a sign-up site at your own openclawlaunch.app address. If you would rather host it yourself, you can download the source or deploy it to Vercel. The REST API is there for developers who want to build their own app.
What does it cost?
There is no fee to deploy a bot. Each bot bills by the hour from a prepaid balance: $0.007/hour for Lite and $0.014/hour for Pro, roughly $5 and $10 over a 30-day month. A bot bills for as long as it exists, including while it is stopped, until you delete it. There is no monthly platform fee for the bots you resell. Saving a card switches billing on and charges nothing; after that a top-up is a minimum of $5, deploying needs at least $1 on the balance, and your first API key comes with $1 of credit. The hosted storefront itself runs inside one of your own bots, billed on your regular plan.
Who pays for the AI model?
You choose. A bot can run on the free Agnes model, on your own OpenRouter account through a per-bot key with a spend cap, or on your customer’s own key from OpenRouter, Anthropic, OpenAI, Groq, DeepSeek, Qwen, Z.AI or MiniMax. The hourly rate covers the servers only.
Do my customers deal with OpenClaw Launch?
No. They sign up on your storefront and talk to their own assistant. We never contact them and we never appear in your product.
Can their bots connect Gmail, Slack or Notion?
Yes — Gmail, Slack, Google Drive, Notion and 1,000+ other apps, through your own Composio key. Usage bills to your Composio account, and the connections your customers make sit in your Composio workspace.
How many bots can I run?
Up to 25 live bots at once to start. That is a safe launch default rather than a ceiling — tell us what you are building and we will raise it.
