Usage

Guidelines

• Total text should be readable in 3-5 minutes (aim for 800-1000 words maximum)
• Title is readable from 10 feet away (85+ pt font), body text from 4 feet (24+ pt)
• Visual hierarchy guides the viewer: title → key finding → supporting evidence → details
• Figures are the centerpiece — larger and more prominent than text blocks
• Color scheme uses 2-3 colors maximum plus neutral backgrounds
• White space prevents visual overload and guides the eye between sections
• QR codes link to full paper, data repositories, or contact information
• Poster flow follows cultural reading direction (left-to-right, top-to-bottom in English)
• Logos and affiliations are positioned prominently but don't dominate content
• Print considerations include resolution (300 DPI), color mode (CMYK), and bleed margins
