PDF Redactor
Permanently remove sensitive information from PDF documents by redacting text, images, and metadata.
Usage
Specify the content to redact by highlighting areas, searching for text patterns, or identifying sensitive data types.
Examples
- "Redact all social security numbers in this document"
- "Black out the names on pages 2 and 3"
- "Remove all email addresses from this PDF"
Guidelines
- Redaction permanently removes data and cannot be undone
- Always work on a copy, never the original document
- Verify redacted areas by trying to select or search for removed text
- Metadata and hidden layers should also be checked for sensitive data
- Pattern-based redaction catches all instances automatically
