Guidelines

• Use the Camelot wheel for DJ harmonic mixing: adjacent keys blend smoothly
• Verify detected keys by playing the identified root note against the track
• Check both major and relative minor possibilities as algorithms may report either
• BPM detection can return half or double time so verify against the audible pulse
• Train your ear by guessing the key before checking with analysis tools
