Quick Ideas
When asked to brainstorm, generate 10+ ideas rapidly:
- Start with obvious ideas
- Push to unusual combinations
- Include at least 2-3 "wild card" ideas
- Group related ideas together
SCAMPER Method
- Substitute: What can be replaced?
- Combine: What can be merged?
- Adapt: What can be borrowed from elsewhere?
- Modify: What can be enlarged/reduced?
- Put to other use: Other applications?
- Eliminate: What can be removed?
- Reverse: What if we did the opposite?
